4. Nationwide Education and Training Institutes Conduct Lectures for the Public

Clinics in each area are also holding the ‘Nationwide PR Project of Periodontal Disease with Clinics,’ co-hosted by the Korean Academy of Periodontology, Korean Association of Public Health Dentists, and Korea Society of Public Health Dental Hygienists and sponsored by the Division of Oral Health and Healthy Life in the Bureau of Health Policy at the Ministry of Health and Welfare. This year, the nationwide PR project is being carried out in 35 clinics, but once we arouse national interest and establish an exclusive department for prevention and early treatment of periodontal disease, this project will be developed into a national scale for national oral health.
