KAP Travel Award
Supported by Dr. Han¡¯s Global Fellowship
Deadline: September 6, 2014
ELIGIBILITY: Young researchers (up to five years post-graduation from periodontal training or pre-PhD) are eligible to apply for the travel award. (No persons having already obtained a PhD are eligible.)
Entrants must provide a verification letter of their educational status.
Entrants can only receive KAP Travel Award once.
APPLICATIONS:
Applicants must submit electronically a detailed overview of their projects (2 pages, double-spaced).
This overview must include brief details of their material and methods, the results of the research including details of statistical analysis, and a brief discussion including how the research will affect the field of periodontology.
The overview must be received by no later than September 6, 2014 for the application to be considered.
AWARD:
One successful applicant will be awarded in 2014. The winner will receive a round trip airfare (economy class) to attend the KAP General Session and waiver of registration fee.
All abstracts submitted for the KAP Travel Award are subject to peer review within the scientific committee of the KAP. KAP will notify the winner individually as well as on the website by Sept. 19th. In addition, the winner for the Travel Award will be invited to present his or her research at the international session on October 26th (presentation 12 min/ Q & A 3min.) and will be officially awarded during the closing ceremony of the 54th General Session.
